Many years ago I watched a flock of carmine bee eaters catching grasshoppers and insects ahead of a bush fire. Then, two years ago I was fortunate enough to experience a cheetah coming towards me in full flight and my imagination combined the two stories, resulting in my painting “ Fire Flight.”
